ANGLEE BREWER-AMERICAS CIVIC MISS JR TEEN 2022
Hello my name is Anglee Brewer, Im so happy to announce I am your first American Civic Miss Jr.Teen! I am currently 15 years old and attend Mt. Blue high school where I’m in 10th grade. My favorite subject is language arts because I love reading and writing. I am a varsity cheerleader and also run track.
I love volunteering and helping my community, a few awards I’ve revived for recognition are 5 presidential volunteerism awards and the Maine youth masons volunteer award. I also have my own platform called blessing bags where I put together bags for the homeless. These bags are filled with blankets, toiletries, sanitary wipes, and many other items. All bags are distributed through the Augusta police department. Not only does my platform spread awareness of homelessness and help people in my community, but also gives these people a chance to get connected to a local church to get more help.
I’ve been doing pageantry since I was 10 years old and I’ve been in love since. Pageantry is a way I can be my outgoing friendly self, while also getting a chance to get on stage. When I get older my goal is to be a medical malpractice attorney to help people who’ve been harmed by medical malpractice. As an attorney, public speaking is an essential skill. Throughout my years in pageantry I’ve had many opportunities where I was able to learn and practice public speaking, how to think on the spot, speak confidently, and many other skills.
I am so honored to be representing the new system America’s Civic Miss and can’t wait for nationals next year!
