Kindness rocks are a great way to do something fun, get out in nature and put a smile on someone’s face. Start by collecting your rocks, your little ones will have fun with this. Make a contest out of it by giving them certain rocks to look for, for example a heart shaped rock. Once your home wash and dry the rocks. Now it’s time to let your creativity fly. If your littles can’t quite write or craw a picture yet, let them paint the background. Put colorful pictures or inspirational words. Paint markers or sharpies work well for smaller details. Once your rocks have dried it’s time to find their perfect hiding place. Go out into your community and leave your rocks in random places such as by the door of a business, a chair/park bench or in your community garden. You never know whose day you will have brightened 🌞
